Close to the St. Florian's Gate and the old city wall of Krakow and only a few hundred meters from the main market square (Rynek Glowny) is the Hotel Florien. The building that dates back to the 16th century was careful renovated in 2000 and is located in the Florian Alley, which is part of the famous Royal Route and pedestrian zone of the old town. All 15 rooms (two to four beds) have a bathroom with shower and toilet, telephone, satellite TV, a minibar and air conditioning. Edged into the medieval wall on the ground floor of the hotel is the restaurant Vesuvio that specializes in Polish and Italian cuisine. Specialties of the house are wood oven pizza and grilled fish and meats.
