The Benedictine Abbey at Tyniec is situated between lime and oak trees on a limestone cliff that hangs over the Wisla about ten kilometers south of Krakow. In the 15th and 17th centuries this romantic monastery was fundamentally remodeled and today boasts baroque splendor. Over the years Tyniec has become famous for its organ concerts that take place in July and August.
