As one of the oldest hotels in Krakow, Pod Roza (below the Rose) is located in a historical building in the heart of the old town since the 17th century. The hotel emanates the stylish atmosphere of this old royal city and boasts Tsar Alexander I. and Franz Liszt amongst its famous guests. On the lower floors the rooms have historical wall frescoes, stucco work and old tiled stoves while the rooms on the top floor have been renovated in a modern style. All 54 luxurious rooms and three suites have the usual amenities. Part of the hotel is the exquisite restaurant Pod Roza and an outstanding Italian restaurant that has a well selected wine cellar that dates back to the 15th century. Several conference rooms are available to guests.
