The luxurious Hotel Domus Balthasar is located only a stone's throw away form
the Charles Bridge on Mala Strana. Originally part of the palace that belonged
to the archbishop, the baroque building was transformed into a charming hotel
during a fundamental renovation in the summer of 2003. All of the six double
rooms (standard, deluxe, royal) and two suites have a bathroom with shower,
bath tub and toilet, a telephone, satellite TV, fax and internet access, a
minibar, water cooker, safe and a hifi mini system (CD, DVD, radio). A hairdryer
and bathrobe can be provided. In addition, the suites have a kitchenette with
a stove and a microwave. The elegant moder interior design is an aesthetic
counterbalance to the historic ambiance. The young hotel staff is markedly
helpful and is willing to provide the guests with insider tips on the cultural
activities and events of the city.
