The Hotel U Cerveneho Lva (Red Lion) which is located directly below the Prague castle in the beautiful Neruda Alley, was mentioned for the first time in the 15 th century. The gothic vaulted cellar, painted beamed ceilings from the renaissance and the baroque entry gate are a testimonial to the moving past of this building. In 1994 the building was carefully renovated and opened as a hotel. All of the 14 double rooms and suites are luxurious, yet tastefully and individually decorated with historic furniture. All of the rooms have a bath and toilet, a telephone, satellite TV, a minibar, refrigerator and a safe. Guests of the hotel have access to a restaurant, a bar and parking. Breakfast is served buffet-style.
