This stylish Hotel Zlata Hvezda (Golden Star) is located just below the Prague castle in a historic building dating back to the 14 th century that has been renovated according to ecological priciples. In the 18 th century the building was renovated by its owner Balthasar Knapp. During this elaborate reconstruction of the building, conveniences of the modern life were integrated into the structure of the building. Due to these considerations, a 270-year-old staircase of incomparable beauty is located right next to a lift. All of the 26 rooms and two suites are tastefully decorated and have spacious bathrooms with a hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV and a minibar. The apartments have two bathrooms.
